Slideluck Potshow is a non-profit organization that combines food, art and community into one awesome event. Their goals is to “promote public appreciation of the visual arts” while strengthening local communities. It works like this: members of the community submit photography and artwork that the organization selects and produces into a slideshow to be viewed along with a potluck dinner by anyone and everyone interested within said community. Sounds pretty great, no?
The event was founded in 2000 by Casey Kelbaugh, an advertising and editorial photographer. Along with co-director and producer Alys Kenny, they have organized shows in Seattle, New York City, San Francisco, Stockholm and São Paulo to name a few.
