Here’s the thing, I went to Vietnam and I didn’t like the food. Most of my travels are epicurean adventures that rarely disappoint, but I did not care for the majority of the Vietnamese dishes I sampled. I wanted to love the food there, was certain I would, but in the end I did not.

In A Taste of Vietnam we’re given a taste bud tour of Vietnam and its most famous food and food regions. After watching this, I’m left wanting to revisit the country and its cuisine. The video was filmed and edited by Daniel Klein and Mirra Fine of the fabulous sustainable food and travel blog The Perennial Plate and sponsored by Intrepid Travel.

For the record, I was quite fond of Vietnamese coffee and bun bo hue and I found both highly redeemable components of Vietnamese cuisine.
