The Book of Ice, by Paul D. Miller (DJ Spooky) is a “multimedia, multidisciplinary study of Antarctica” based on the author’s personal travels and experiences in the South Pole. In his book, Miller examines both the historical and scientific aspects of the only uninhibited continent in the world. The book also explores the possibility for Antarctica to gain independence from, well, its independence. The continent belongs to no single country and has no government. The book is available on Amazon and the iBookstore.
